Women's History Month Spotlight: Jala Wright
Friday, March 10, 2023
Hey Mofos!
Since it's Women's History Month, I wanted to shine a spotlight on a young lady that I have watched grow up from her mother's lenses. Her mom is my sorority sister and I kept hearing all these great things about Jala Wright, and to actually see her shining bright in her sport, is nothing short of amazing.
Jala is a pitcher at Duke University. I don't know much about softball, but I do know this is a BIG DEAL. During her senior year in high school in Charlotte, North Carolina, she committed to play at Michigan State but after her freshman year she transferred to Duke. She threw a no-hitter against Army West Point, pitched in 27 games, threw 13 consecutive scoreless innings last February, and was named to DISoftball's TOp 150 rankings at the end of the year. GO HEAD JALA!
So I love her newest venture is wanting to reach back and mentor young women who are wanting to follow in her path. Learn more here to register for her mentoring service.
Read more about Jala here.
Let Jala help mentor your up and coming softball players!
